Position Overview
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within time and funding parameters. Essential Functions
Project Management
- Develop and refine scope of work taking into account the client's needs, budget and other resources.

Physical Demands/Work Conditions
This job requires the individual to work indoors in a normal office environment. The duties and responsibilities of this position may include the ability to remain in a stationary position for most of the time. The individual will operate the computer, printer and other office equipment to perform the job and may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access files and other office machinery. Position Overview
Advanced Energy provides independent engineering services mainly for utility scale distributed energy resources. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about quality and ensuring the safety and reliability of distributed energy resources that are connected to the utility grid.
The ideal candidate will have seven to nine years of experience in electrical engineering and possess:
- Knowledge of design, construction, and commissioning of distributed energy facilities including utility scale PV, medium voltage distribution construction, electrical transmission and/or distribution systems, energy storage systems, and/or National Electrical Code
- Experience performing engineering analysis, design documentation review, and/or field testing for electrical systems
- Ability to perform field evaluations to assess aspects of the quality of design, construction, and operation; ability to conduct field tests of electrical equipment

The job requires team members to spend part of their time visiting utility scale distributed energy resource facilities in North Carolina and South Carolina.
