EPIC’s Dr. Mike Mazzola to speak at Data Summit 2019
Mississippi State University’s National Strategic Planning and Analysis Research Center (NSPARC) will host the fourth annual Data Summit, Sept. 12 – 13. The two-day conference will be held at The Mill, 100 Mercantile Ln., in Starkville, Mississippi. This year’s theme is “Cybernetic City: An Ecosystem for Big, Smart, and Fast Economies.” One highlight of the event is the main panel on the morning of Friday, Sept. 13, called “How Data and Technology Are Shaping the Workforce of the Future.” Moderated by Chief Communications Officer and Director of the Office of Public Affairs at Mississippi State University Sid Salter, the panel of top-notch national experts will include Janice Zdankus of Hewlett Packard
Enterprises; Craig Sparks of C Spire; Desmond Dickerson of the Cognizant Center for the Future of Work; and Mike Mazzola of UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC).
