Biography:

Mr. Hicks is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer for EnergyUnited Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) in Statesville, NC. He has eighteen years of electric utility experience in the design, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution systems. As the Manager, Energy Resource Planning & Portfolio Management, Mr. Hicks is responsible for the planning, organizing, developing and implementation of programs in the area of wholesale power supply and the regulatory needs of EnergyUnited, along with procurement of both traditional and renewable energy portfolios. He holds Professional Engineer licenses in the states of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. EnergyUnited is a not-for-profit electric membership corporation headquartered in Statesville, North Carolina.
