Biography
Dr. Balu Elias George is a Post Doctoral Fellow with the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center. He holds a Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Before joining UNC Charlotte as a Post Doctoral Fellow, Dr. George was working as an Assistant Professor at Mahatma Gandhi University, and then at the Kerala Technological University in India. His areas of interest include Foundation Engineering and Soil Mechanics.
